Ongoing support so you're never stuck

Running a Shopify store is an ongoing job. New products, seasonal updates, app changes, things that break at the worst possible time. A retainer means you've always got someone in your corner who knows your store inside out.

Think of it as having a Shopify expert on call, without the overhead of hiring someone full time.

How much does a store build cost?
Every project is scoped individually based on what your store actually needs. I'll always give you a clear, itemised quote before any work begins. No surprises. Get in touch and I'll put something together for you.
Do you offer payment plans?
Yes. For larger projects I split payments across milestones: typically a deposit to start, with the balance on completion. If you'd like to discuss a different arrangement, just ask when you get in touch.
How long does a store build take?
Most store builds take 3–6 weeks from kick-off to launch, depending on scope and how much content needs to be created. I'll give you a clear timeline at the start and keep you updated throughout.
What if I'm not sure which service I need?
Just drop me a message and describe where you're at. I'll give you a straight answer on what I'd recommend. No sales pitch, no obligation. Sometimes a quick conversation is all it takes to figure out the right next step.
Do you only work with UK businesses?
No. I work with founders all over the world. Everything is done remotely, so your location doesn't matter. I'm based in Poole, Dorset, but my clients are spread across the UK, Europe, and beyond.
What happens after my store is built?
At handover, I make sure you know how to manage your store yourself. I offer a monthly retainer for ongoing support, but there's no obligation to continue. Most clients find they want the retainer once they see how much there is to stay on top of. That's entirely your call.
Do you work with B2B stores?
Yes. Alongside DTC, I have experience working with B2B Shopify stores: wholesale ordering, account-based pricing, trade portals and the specific UX challenges that come with selling to businesses rather than consumers. If you're running a B2B operation or a hybrid of both, I can help.
What if I need development work done?
My focus is strategy, design, and consultancy, but I work alongside trusted Shopify development consultants when a project calls for custom code or more complex technical work. You get the right expertise for the job without having to manage multiple relationships yourself.
